I actually started this piece in 2016 and remember thinking at the time that I better get it finished before Trump loses the election and becomes a forgotten historical foot note. It was originally called 'The Rant', then 'The Donald" until I heard Marcus Eriksen (5 Gyres), refer to him as "Twitler" at the International Marine Debris Summit in Japan. I knew then and there that I had to co-opt the name. Sadly, so fitting.
